Dr. Bradley owns and operates The Aesthetic & Reconstructive Plastic Surgery Institute, an accredited office-based surgical facility located in Swansea, Illinois. Dr. Bradley’s facility was accredited by AAAASF (American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities) in 1999. In 2003 Aesthetic & Reconstructive Plastic Surgery Institute earned accreditation by JCAHO (Joint Commission on Accreditation Of Health Care Organizations). JACAHO is the premier organization utilized by most hospitals and medical centers for accreditation. Both of these organizations are recognized and accepted by the Federal government for Medicare accreditation purposes. As the Institute’s Medical Director, Dr. Bradley constantly monitors quality assurance to be sure patient safety is the number one priority.

Accreditation is a voluntary process which assures patients that only the most rigorous standards for patient safety have been met. Each patient undergoes a thorough pre-operative medical examination by Dr. Bradley personally. Dr. Bradley strictly adheres to the American Society of Anesthesiology recommendations for patient workup protocol to make absolutely each patient is adequately medically cleared for their surgery. Pre- operative blood work, EKG and other testing will be ordered and then personally reviewed by Dr. Bradley depending on each individual’s requirements. Dr. Bradley and all of his O.R. staff have worked together at the Institute for a decade . Dr. Bradley and each of his OR and recovery staff are trained and certified in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support). As an added level of patient safetyDr. Bradley is also certified in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) . An absolutely perfect safety record attests to Dr. Bradley’s commitment to patient safety and the effectiveness of the policies and procedures at The Plastic & Reconstructive Plastic Surgery Institute. In fact many policies and procedures are unique to Dr. Bradley’s facility and actually exceed the standards found in most accredited hospitals and out patient ambulatory surgical facilities, but in a setting that is more cost-effective and much more committed to private and personal attention.

If your surgery takes longer than planned, you will not have to pay additional anesthesia or facility charges as one commonly does in hospital or other outpatient ambulatory surgical facilities. On your day of surgery you are not one of many on a busy O.R. schedule. Each patient receives one on one care by anesthesia , in the O.R. as well as in recovery. Dr. Bradley meets with each patient before surgery and prior to discharge. You will be greeted by the same warm, friendly faces from the day of your initial consult, on the day of your surgery and everyday thereafter.
