Laser Tattoo Removal

What is Laser Tattoo Removal?

This procedure uses a laser beam of light to remove unwanted tattoos.

Am I a candidate for this procedure?

Anyone who would like to remove a tattoo from his or her body is a candidate for this procedure. For a private consultation, please call Dr. Bradley at (954) 446-6464.

What are the benefits of this procedure?

With only a few sessions, a tattoo can be lightened and removed from sight with a relatively painless procedure. Unlike a surgical excision, there are usually no visible scars.

How long does the procedure last?

The length of the procedure depends on the complexity of the tattoo, as well as the number of colors in the tattoo.

How do I prepare for surgery?

To prevent pigmentation changes, it is necessary to protect the area from the sun for at least 4 weeks prior to surgery.

What does surgery involve?

You will receive local anesthesia, so you will be awake. Dr. Bradley will pass the laser beam carefully over the tattoo until the pigment is lightened.  This may take several sessions depending on the size and the number of colors used in the tattoo.

Will I spend the night in your facility or be released after surgery?

This is usually an outpatient procedure.

When can I return to my normal lifestyle?

You can return to your normal lifestyle immediately. While Dr. Bradley recommends you always protect your skin from the sun, it will be mandatory until the treated area is completely healed.
